We believe that a child care center is only as good as its teachers. Many of our staff are still with us today after nearly 20 years in business. Our teachers love working here because because we pay above market, offer generous paid time off, invest in their education, and provide a caring and positive workplace. This is really what sets us apart from other centers.
Most of our staff are native Spanish speakers from a variety of Spanish-speaking countries including Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Colombia. Language of Love is often described as a "large family." This is one of our points of pride, and is due to the devotion and love that our teachers and staff show the children and their families.
Meet Anna and Rey
Anna learned how to speak Spanish while living in Chile in 1996 after college. She continued to develop her fluency while working in the construction industry, which is how she met her husband, Rey. Rey is from Honduras and together they have five children.
Through the years, Anna has maintained her initial vision of keeping Language of Love a small family-oriented environment. Anna loves to develop a relationship with each family! Anna devotes her spare time to studying medicine and has completed her MD degree. Rey devotes his spare time to mission work.
In 2019, Rey and Anna's youngest child, Isaac, died. He drowned while the family was visiting Honduras. He was only 2 years old.
Rey and Anna came through this season very strong with their faith in God as their foundation. Anna loves to teach grief classes and share hope for others who have experienced loss.
